Here are some wedding photos I took at a Catholic church in Sausalito, CA. Some of you may have heard of it. St. Mary’s Star of the Sea. I never even knew about this church until I worked here. It’s a really nice church and I hope to be back there sometime soon.
For you aspiring wedding photographers out there, the lighting was good and the clergy didn’t really have any restrictions. I generally shoot the processional with flash and then the entire ceremony with no flash for various reasons. For the kiss and wedding march I’ll make an instinctual choice of whether or not to use flash. Even for some processionals now, in well lit churches, I’m starting to do processionals and bridal march with no flash. However, if the aisle is long enough, I have enough time to do both by making quick adjustments as I shoot.
I threw some bridal prep photos in here just for good measure
